Sunday Worship at Mt Zion

About us

If you’re looking for a church to call your family, we hope you will check Mount Zion out. Families from the greater Rowan and Cabarrus County communities gather for worship on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. You will find people who come dressed as they are and love being together as the Mount Zion family for traditional worship. We enjoy piano, organ and choir music on a regular basis. And, we also bring in guest musicians once a month to enrich worship with different types of instruments and styles of music.

Our pastor, James Simonds shares Christ-centered, bible-based sermons grounded on God\’s grace and mercy. He has a rich background in pastoral ministry and teaching music in public schools.
